Guest guest
My son just turned 8. He met 2 counting rules for mercury burden. (DDI Hair test)I have purchased 1 mg DMSA and 1 mg ALA combined in capsule to begin chelation conservatively. Most of his issues are allergy/asthma, overly emotional, gastrointestinal and can only tolerate limited foods, with texture being a huge issue. I tried to get him to swallow empty capsules for practice and he just gets frustrated. I was told transdermal is too unpredictable in dosage. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to administer? I opened up the capsule and there was very little odor or taste, so I am thinking of hiding it in teaspoons of chocolate pudding. I opened an 8 mg DMSA/8 mg ALA capsule and the smell was awful!! Also, I think I remember reading somewhere the contents should not be exposed to air or it will lose it's potency. Anyone heard this? Are there any foods or drinks that would be a bad idea to mix it with? I have put this off long enough. Summer is more than half over and I am just nervous. ~Nahla
