Joanne,

Although you addressed your question to Mike I thought you might like

some input from others. If I were in this situation I would approach

someone in authority there and ask permission. There might even be an

opportunity given to you to stand up before the group and give a brief

explanation of the fund raising and of our group. This way you could

have people approach you rather than having to go in cold to a bunch

of strangers.

Thank you for your thoughts - You are right about asking first.

Wouldn't that be amazing to be given an opportunity to actually ask a

large group?
