Guest guest
Hi there, I'm glad to hear that the Xray results came back normal. My nephew at his 4 month visit was sent to a neurosurgeon because his ped. was concerned that his sutures were closing prematurely. Upon seeing the neurosurgeon, the neurosurgeon said that because of my nephews prominent suture lines and a little bit small soft spot he could see why the ped. referred him to the neurosurgeon. Needless to say he was fine. Will the doctor do a follow-up visit to measure head growth? At one point, the ped. remeasured my son's head because it seemed like it jumped. The doctor didn't want to wait the full length of time before visits so he had us come back 6 weeks later to remeasure. At that time it showed that our son's head was fine and that one of the previous measurements may have been wrong. Maybe that is the case with your son??? As for waiting to see if your son's mis-shappen head will correct itself...I wouldn't do that if you aren't happy with the shape now. Good luck in your decision. > > > > > > Hi everyone.
