My name is Krasky and I'm a private licensed shcool psychologist who is

working in Weston and beginning social skills groups very soon. I am currently

looking for children who meet the following criteria:

- High funcationing/verbal/non-aggressive

- Boys 5-7 and 15-18

- Require specific social skills instruction through direct instruction models

If I get enough children for other age groups, I would love to start a group for them as well. A group can be started with a minimum of 3 children, but 4 or 5 is usually better. BLAST Educational Services in Coral Springs has been servicing children and adolescents, pre k through high school, since 2002. We are located on Sample Road, between University Drive and the Sawgrass.

 Our social skills classes

target a variety of social interaction skills, conflict resolution skills and

stress management strategies for children at home, at school and in the

community.  The classes meet once a week for 90 minutes and are based on

an approximate 10-week schedule.  Before placing a child in a group, we

conduct an informal assessment, which will pinpoint the child's needs and

assure that he/she is placed in the appropriate group that will benefit them. 

All children are placed in groups that are age, grade and developmentally
