Guest guest
I still don't understand what all the sulfur foods are and exactly what role they play in mercury detox. I normally eat lots of dairy, broccoli, etc. and never have any problems. Should I avaoid these while detoxing? Thanks, Mark

If a person has high levels of plasma cysteine adding more in the way of sulfur foods can lead to reactions because the single thiol groups can grab mercury and loosely drag it around. For those people sulfur food exclusion diets make them feel better. http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ANDY_INDEX.html#sulfur > I normally eat lots of dairy, > broccoli, etc. and never have any problems. The only way to know for sure would be to try a sulfur food exclusion diet for a week or so, then challenge yourself with lots of them and see how you feel.
