Guest guest
I am sure it varies per person, but I can handle 8grams (caps). Guest guest
Vit C tolerance is HIGHLY individual. I start get diarrhea from C above 500 mg in one dose. Also read one place that vit C should be taken at no more than 250 mg per dose, several times a day. Supposedly it is better utilized that way. The idea being the body can't actually use more than that at once, and the excess is simply excreted in urine. I've been thinking about trying multidosing of 250 mg to see if I can get beyond my 500 mg per day limit. sol scubjay wrote: > How much can a normal person handle? > I forget the amount. > > I started having loose stools at 1 tsp and a half, which was 2,767 mg > per tsp. >

Guest guest
More than 500mg/day kicks my IBS symptoms up so I haven't been taking it although I intend to start trying to again. > > Vit C tolerance is HIGHLY individual.
