Guest guest
Hi everyone, I saw this post about antibiotics and wondered where this knowledge comes from and if people have a different view or different experience with antibiotics. I have an infection and asked for no quinolone drugsbut the antibiotic I am on - a derivative of penecillin may not be clearing my bladder infection. See below for post excerpt. thanks colette If you are mercury toxic, do NOT, > > under any circumstances, let anybody give you a quinolone drug. > > They are weak chelators of divalent metals (i.e., mercury) and > > they do cross the blood brain barrier. Guest guest
A couple of people in this group have reported problems with quinolone antibiotics. This is what Andy said: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/13655 There are other antibiotics that your GP could try before trying quinolone. Some people use cranberry (without sugar) and mannose to clear bladder infections. There is a section on bladder infections p 68-71 in the book " From Fatigued to Fantastic " by Teitelbaum (probably available in your local library).
