I don't think we have an answer for that. Some folks hve gone back to

naturla thyroid successfully. But most stay on T3.

Cytomel is expensive. But Cynomel from Mexico is not at all and it won't matter if there IS a shortage of cytomel in the US when we can get it from Mexico. Very easy to do.

Is T3 Only Protocol Permanent?

Once you go on a T3-only protocol, is it a permanent decision? If Cytomel becomes too expensive for me, or there is a national shortage like the one that happened with Armour Thyroid, can I go back to a mix of T3 & T4 meds? Will my body always make too much RT3, or will it "forget" how to convert T4 into T3?Thanks.Jackie
