Guest guest
I'm not really sure what to make of this but ever since I've been on T3 treatment my temps have been kind of high. said it was due to T3 pooling in the blood since I wasn't on HC and had a very high RT3. My RT3 was over the range, my Free T4 was at the top of the range and my FT3 was at the top. Sure enough, once I started the HC my temps started coming down gradually but have always been pretty close to 98.6. Well for the last two or three days they've been going above 98.6 again and I'm wondering if it's because my RT3 cleared or if it's because the T3 is pooling in the blood. I'm on week 11 of RT3 treatment but to tell you the truth, I don't feel any different then when I first started. I think my adrenals are getting stressed because of the high temps too. When I checked my bp it dropped upon standing. Could someone please take a look at my temp history and let me know if you think I should reduce T3? I saw a previous post where someone's RT3 cleared and they had high temps and Val told them to reduce T3 and HC. I'm not sure why I would want to reduce HC, except for that the need for it decreases when RT3 clears but I'm not sure if mine did. Anyway, I'm really confused and would appreciate some advice. Thanks so much! Where does your cycle fit into this?? The optimum is for an average of 98.6 on the first half of the cycle and a little higher post ovulation If you feel you are on too much you can drop a little T3 with those temperatures. What is resting pulse rate and how do you feel. By this stage of the process any small dose change stabilizes after 3 days so you can try a change and reverse it easily if it doesn't work for you Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
