It should open back up Sunday morning, unless they've changed the schedule. I didn't even know it was closed as I thought it was next week that it was closed. Anyway, FYI, it's 7 days.

you should usually wait about 7 days between each decrease unless you are having major symptoms of high cortisol.

Great. Thank you Kitty. I'm starting today since it's a Saturday.

My 8am cortisol level was high, but that was after 5mg dose. The doctor I have

does like to test this way as he said the dose I take can shed some light on the

test.

thanks kitty, esp for that link, very informative and i didnt know it was out

there.

i was dosing my 27.5mg 10, 10, 5, 2.5

not sure but i think the high am doses were causing too much of an imbalance

later in day...

i switched to 10, 7.5, 7.5, 2.5 and i will try that for a minute til i drop down

to 25mg, then i'll go to 10, 7.5, 5, 2,5.... not quite sure when i am going to

make that move, maybe soon. i have a lab order for iron panel and thyroid,

waiting 5 days to be off iron supps. looking forward to getting those done and

i'll be more informed.

but anyway, with my little 6.25t3 raise yesterday and the tweak in hc i dont

have the foot pain today and dont feel water retention going on. feel really

good all the way around actually

think you are right...

its encouraging to hear you are lowering hc at same time as raising t3, i had

been on hc for so long, it's kind of a shocker to reach the weaning process

already, adrenal healing happens right under our noses once we get the thyroid

we need i guess.

my test and estrogen were on the low side, my prog was good according to my doc,

i had started on test cream and est patch in beginning of t3, but then i decided

to wait til i get my t3 more in line then delve back into those. my doc wanted

me to start prog pills to accompany the est patch, but i dont know enough yet

about prog/est ratio or the right things to take to mess with it yet.
