Guest guest
It takes longer--I'm thinking as long as 6 weeks for the T4 to leave. I know T4 takes a while to get out of the system, but I am assuming that most of that takes place in the first week or two-does anybody know? > > I want to keep track of temps and symptoms. > > Thanks >
Guest guest
Hi , are you taking 120 in alll or 2 times per day. Re: T4 decay? It takes longer--I'm thinking as long as 6 weeks for the T4 to leave. It can take 6 weeks or longer for the T4 levels to fully decay and stabilise. I was increasing T3 weekly still by week 10 Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
I have the same problem righy now: stopped t4 med a week ago and started on 18 mcg t3. Pulse and temps went high and right now I am waiting for the t4 to go down, so temps and pulse will go down and then I will be able to increase t3. This waiting is frusterating... Will be glad to hear other's experience on the time it took the t4 to go down. so the could increase t3 meds... > > >I know T4 takes a while to get out of the system, but I am assuming that most of that takes place in the first week or two-does anybody know? > > It can take 6 weeks or longer for the T4 levels to fully decay and > stabilise. Guest guest
I'm splitting it up and taking it 4x per day-I take two 60 mg and I use empty gel caps from some L-carnitine I take and split the doses up-generally around 40mg first thing and then the other 20mg 4-5 hours later and so forth. > > > > I stopped all dessicated 3 days ago-staying on SRT3 120mg for now. Guest guest
I guess I will be patient and see what happens-I had already dropped 1.5 grains about 5 weeks ago, so this additional 1 grain might not be that noticable to me. I'm planning on staying with the 120 SRT3 and adjust by symtoms. One thing I already notice is much less anxiety-that started 5 weeks ago when I dropped the 1.5 grain dessicated. I also have some energy to do a lot more than before with less muscle weakness, so I do believe I must have over shot my meds or if I didn't then I have serious resistance, which I hope will clear now that I am not taking dessicated. Guest guest
>I have stopped t4 med and started at a low dose of t3 - 18 mcg a day. And even this in on the edge of hyper. How could it be that you are on such a high amount of t3? Haven't you started like me from small doses of t3? It probably will take me forever to reach the amout of t3 you guys take. >Is it because i was on t4 only and you were on t4+t3 (natural)? >Please don't tell me you started with that high dose! I was on 12 grains of natural to start with and got there over 10 years, if you were on T4 only then you were starting in a totally different place to me, I had more severe resistance than most peoeple and still have resistance after RT3 cleared Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
> > >Nick, what was your final dose? 225 seems so high. Remember where I started, resistance as bad as it can be > >I am struggling with feeling so exhausted. today is day #4 of no t4 and 90mcg of t3. >should i keep going up on t3? feeling this tired? Don't increase more often than every 3 days, T3 builds slower than you expect if you are used to Natural. 90 of what times how, and what were you on before?? Temperature, pulse??
