Guest guest
Welcome , I think you will find this a great supportive group. Often our families and friends simply do not understand what we are going through because they have not experienced it. Experience seems to be the great teacher in this case. It is my hope that you will meet new and supportive friends here on Lyme Aid and enjoy all sorts of lively Lyme discussions! As well, as having some fun and gaining lots of important information. Blessings to you, > Hi I'm , 21 from land. I was diagnosed with Lyme's about 2 > years ago.

Guest guest
Hi, Cristina. I'm beginning on Monday, too. I bought my week's worth of groceries last night. Can't wait to start! Good luck to you over the next 12 weeks!
Guest guest
Hi Kathi, long time no see. I alternate between flax oil and natty pb in my morning shakes(the pb tastes better than the flax). Neither is a magic fat burning bullet. The whole theory is that you need fat to burn fat as it facilitates mobilizing the stored fat(that bumpier look the fat sometimes acquires) before it can be effectively burned by cardio. Guest guest
Hi Nomi: Please let me say that I am glad to see you here, and I appreciate the praise but some of my motives for doing the web page for were partially selfish, Paxil turned my life into a train wreck too. I could have easily been in the same situation as . It could happen to anyone who takes these drugs, (just found out I have a niece who is taking Paxil, GRRRRRRR!) She says, " like I feel fine but I have these headaches that hurt so bad I have to lie down in a dark room with an ice pack on my head " . I want to jump through the phone line, and go find her idiot doctor and strangle the life out of him, I reminded her that Paxil is what caused me to have to go to a mental hospital for 2 months. " Oh that won't happen to me, Auntie, I am going to be just fine. " I wish I believed that. Guest guest
Amber, you are doing great! The hardest thing I have found over the years with workout partners is that they don't last long and then I really lose motivation to workout. On the other hand, having someone there to spot and push you helps also. I workout at home and often use videos and get the same motivation altho not the spotting <G>. Keep up the great work and hopefully soon you'll find someone who can workout with you. Guest guest
I had unpleasant reactions to Prozak and Paxil so I refused to take anything else for a year. The anxiety and panic got bad enough so I tried Lex and it has been great. Besides some minor sexual side effects I can live with, I feel a lot better. I too was checking myself constantly looking for bad side effects. I am glad I didn't create any because it has helped me a lot. Guest guest
I am no doctor, but my doctor told me to take DHEA for the sexual side effects. And it does work. And it can be taken by boht men and women. Only side efffect I really am concerned about they might have a fit over is the weigh loss. But not like losing weight will hurt. Guest guest
DHEA is a hormone. It can be bought at GNC by anyone over 18. This probably goes without saying, but I would advise anyone contemplating this to check with their Doc if they are on anything else. Guest guest
Hi I'm so happy you joined us. Does anyone else in your family have heterochromia aka dicrhomia. Join the crowd, especially with odd, sometimes funny reactions. The only negative reaction I recall was when I was around six. An older woman, heck when your six practically anyone seems old. She saw me and then screamed a SUPER LOUD scream directly into my ear. It hurt both physically and emotionally. I burst into tears. In retrospect I can't be certain it was because of my heterochromia but then again I suspect it was. BTW my eyes are that way because of Waardenburg syndrome. Wonder if there are other members here with it. Inherited from my father. Glad you joined the group Lynda http://disabilityinfo.ms11.net > It is sooooo great to meet some other people like me! Guest guest
If it says dichromatic under the list of restrictions, then it likely means color blind. I'm not sure if states consider that to be a driving restriction or not. However, some states are allowing drivers to list DIC or OTHR under the eye color section if they do not fit into one of the standard (BLU, GRN, BRN, etc) categories. I'm guessing that anjalwng is actually referring to the eye color section, because if he/she were color blind, it would already be known. Anjalwng, what state are you in?
