Guest guest
I'll get *really* bad insomnia if I take even 2mg cortisol (Isocort) after about 9:30 or 10 at night (when usually getting up at 7-9). Then I'm usually up until about 4 or 5 AM. I also noticed, before I was at anywhere near an adequate dosage (I'm now weaning, was up to 26mg which I don't think was enough) that I'd get really *sleepy* around 6PM. This was about an hour after the sun went down. I was thinking it was some light-reaction as my BGs didn't seem to be high consistently. Guest guest
Me too. I can't take it past 8 pm if I go to bed by 11:30 pm or midnight or else I wake up around 3:30-5 am. Guest guest
Really? So you don't take the bed-time dose, you go to sleep after 11PM and you can sleep through the night or at least not wake up at 5AM and can't get back to sleep? Maybe I need to try backing up that last dose to much earlier although that will compress my dosing schedule so that I can't take my 40mg 5x anymore. > > Me too. Guest guest
Yeah, I tried a bedtime dose and kept waking up. Now I sleep through usually 6 am then fall back asleep until 8:30 am. The one exception is during my period. The bed time dose seemed to have the opposite effect on me than some others...made waking up much worse. I don't have a problem falling asleep (between 10-12 depending on if I watch Nightline). My problem is waking up during the night. I have been getting much better sleep too since going to all cream and taking larger morning doses. I am on a four dose schedule myself. I only add a fifth if I stress dose on a bad day.
