picolinate forms of minerals

Does anyone know about the safety of picolinate forms of trace minerals? Are

they carcinogenic, especially chromium picolinate? One can find studies that say

they are, but one particular study was conducted by the FDA, which automatically

raises concerns of validity for me...

I couldn't find anything about doses that were used in this link. One

would want to obtain the relevant studies and look at how they were

done and whether the doses used were anywhere near the same ballpark

as humans use for supplementation.

Ooooooooh, I've been taking Zinc picolinate for quite some time.

Would this apply to the questionable picolinate form of supplements?
