Guest guest
Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm writing to you desperately seeking for answers. Hopefully someone can help me. My son is 4 years old, he has autism , asthma, diabetes and now lactic acidosis. We just went to mch for a muscle biopsy , and it was confirmed that his lactic acid is very high. They did the muscle biopsy to rule out if he has mitochondrial disease, but they didn't gave us any medication or therapy in order to bring down the lactic acid that is on 5.3 . Normal range is 1.5 to 2.2 . Do you have any suggestions into what to do. I don't see the genetics specialist until 11/14. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Go to the health food store and buy Calcium Pyruvate. It brings down Lactic Acid. Your son is little so probably one cap will do and then retest in a month or so. Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm writing to you desperately seeking for answers.
