It is very easy on the stomach, and I have severe digestive issues and I tolerate (500 mg capsules x 2 daily) this well. I have been giving this(500 mg per dog) to my 3 Maltese dogs for 16 years from the advice of their (dog's) Naturopath. Natrol owns the patent on the Ester C, so it is also the cheapest to buy.
