Guest guest
mine USE to be only at 4pm. Thats when all my symptoms began (dizziness, fatigue- generally between 3 and 5 pm). Now, its all the time. Like exhausting feelings after doing the littlest task. Dizziness all the time, even after walking for 10 minutes. Menstrual cycles make matters ten times worse with adrenal fatigue. The first day of my cycle I spend on the couch, litterally am so tired and fatigued I cannot even move! If insurance companies were better, doctors that specialize in fatigue would be convered and then a lot more people could afford the health they need!!! Primary Docs blow us off and make us feel hopeless!!! I think i've advanced stages in the past few months by my symptoms, and have started vitamins, DHEA, and will possibly toy with cortef low doses. Im only 23 too!!! Ridiculous. > > Hi everyone. I am trying to learn as much as I can. > > Please describe the level of fatigue you experience. Mine is usually > debilitating. Guest guest
My fatigue feels like my legs and arms are weighted down, and like my brain stops working because I want to go to sleep, a dull feeling. I also get muscle soreness at the same time. I sometimes feel it in the daytime, but when I feel my thyroid/adrenals are off it really hits me right around 7:00pm. I'm usually ready for bed at that time, and often can't keep my eyes open no matter what. I have had to stop doing things at night because I'm afraid I'll fall asleep at the wheel. I wish I could stay up until 10:00 like normal people. Caffeine makes me feel much worse so I don't drink it. I generally feel worse the week before my period. Carol > > Hi everyone. Now that I have two tinies, the 4pm crash is difficult. I can't let myself sleep, though sometimes it's a close thing as to whether or not I'm conscious. I call it the Suicide Hour, when I and my tinies are all at our worst. > For women, do your cycles and/or PMS make the adrenal fatigue worse? Oh yes. For a few days before each period, it's much worse. Rosie/
Guest guest
Hi , thanks for the reply. Yes I have the dizziness also. I also feel woozy and just really ill. I too can barely move when I get my period. Yes if more doctors took this seriously, people would not get so sick. It is good to know that I am not alone, but I am sorry you have this. Guest guest
Rie, thanks for your response. I have a hard time getting up in the morning too. It is like I am glued to the bed. It must be hard caring for two children when dealing with this. The spoon theory sounds interesting. Kind of like take things one minute at a time when one day at a time is too much?
