Unless 3hr dosage timing is giving you problems I would not suggest switching but taking it sooner than 3hr is ok as long as it is consistent. Does it feel better? It is a *real pain* to dose more often and I would not do it unless it is necessary. If you are having problems, I suggest you talk specifically about what is going on and maybe I and/or others can make suggestions. --

Guest guest
Don't know. I do 3 hours at night without any problems. Just want to make sure there is no redistribution. I don't think i have problems during the rounds. i did 2 rounds ala only and had almost no side effects.... I found it easy to do. Not sure if 2 hour rounds would be demanding. i am afraid that i would notice side effects when damage has already ocurred. At least that was my experience with cilantro. With 2 hour rounds it is virtually guaranteed that there is no redistribution. , why did you switch to 2 hour rounds? > > > > I am thinking about doing 2 hour dmsa+ala rounds. > > > > Anybody here doing this? Guest guest
from my experience(not with chelators) i seem to be a rather fast metaboliser but I don't know how my body processes the chelating agents. I didn't notice any real bad side effects so far with 3 hour dosing. How can I find out??? > > > > I am thinking about doing 2 hour dmsa+ala rounds. > > > > Anybody here doing this? Well, for me at least, redistribution is real obvious. I think if you were having redistribution you would notice symptoms. > With 2 hour rounds it is virtually guaranteed that there is no > redistribution. , why did you switch to 2 hour rounds? I had a lot of symptoms from the beginning, both with DMSA alone and DMSA/ALA. It helped quite noticeably to move to shorter intervals. I tried different interval lengths when I was doing DMSA/ALA - 2.5, 2.25, 2 hours. With 2 hourly intervals things seemed a lot more calm/stable. I still did longer intervals at night for a long time, but I have gradually accepted that it is going to be easier, and probably better for me to do 2 hourly at night also. --

Guest guest
--- When I eventually start ALA it will be two hourly. I metabolise quickly and get problems taking DMSA anything less frequently than 3 hourly. I'm not taking any risks with the ALA. I'll try to get away with 3 hourly at night though.
