Guest guest
Hi! I've finished my 16th round of DMSA (currently 25 mg) and I'm 5 months past last amalgam removal. I think I'm in the dumping periode. On round and a few days after round I feel ok (relatively...). The last day(s) before round I start feeling more fategued again. Now, I want to sart ALA. Would it be ok to start and end rounds with DMSA only ? If I have a build-up of mercury in my blood during the off periode, then maybe a day or so of DMSA only would lower ths level enough to make takeing ALA safer in terms of transporting mercury to the brain... All in all, since I started chelating I feel better. Much of the muscle and joint pain is gone and I have more energy. Not nearly back to normal, but still. At first I fought yeast/candida with garlic and goldenseal. During the last couple of months I have added aloe vera juice and coconut oil. This has made it easier to chelate and made it possible to raise the dosage. - Kyrre

I don't see an advantage to starting rounds with DMSA only. In autism mercury parents often talk about using DMSA only for the last couple of doses of a round. TK--- this is the theory, that it helps mop up what is left when you stop the ALA > > All in all, since I started chelating I feel better.
