Round one underway!

Started at 6 mg. ALA yesterday ... and doing it every three hours like

a good girl. :) Amalgams were out the beginning of June. Doing all

the right AI-recommended supplements, etc. No headaches .... but I am

noticing a bit more muscle twitching than before ... and sometimes I

feel like I am on a " short fuse. " Is this normal? Of course I

automatically worry that " maybe he (the dentist) didn't get it all "

(although he assures me he did ... he used all the right protocols,

etc.) ... or maybe I am going to make myself worse. So is it normal to

feel a slight increase in symptoms during a round? I keep reading

about people feeling *better* on a round. I wasn't feeling bad to

begin with (other than the subtle twitches) ... don't want to make

myself bad!

Thanks ...

TK--- many many people do worse on round only the lucky ones do

better.

TK---- Have you done a Hair analysis ?

I strongly caution you to really know what you are doing before you

start chelating especially if you have no health problems to speak

of. Go very slow and be very cautious. 6mg is a good start, do not

go over this for some time.

Yes I did the hair analysis. It was done a few weeks after the last

amalgam was removed. It showed (barely) elevated mercury ... but did

not meet any counting rules. I have no plans to raise above 6 mg.

for quite some time ... but now you are making me nervous.

I'm noticing also that I feel the symptoms mostly either right

before or right at the time I take my next dose. Guess my body

is " needing " it.

I found that some of my muscle twitching was associated with lowish

potassium. I use either alka seltzer gold or vegetable juices or

bananas if I think I need more potassium. I think lowish magnesium

can also contribute to muscle twitching. Magnesium seems to be used

up very quickly during chelation.

Many people have reported these type of symptoms. Irritability is

also an indication of low Mg (if I remember correctly).
