Guest guest
I was wondering whether having strong reactions from probiotics is a good sign of detoxification of mer- cury? I read that the yeast feeds on mercury. So everytime we take probiotics which kill these yeast, mercury is made free in the gut which gives strong reactions? A while ago I took lactobacillus DDS from Natren. That was really strong stuff. Whithin a few minutes of taking it I would get bowel irritation. As if there was a real war in my intestines. My stools got softer from this. Could it be that strong/aggressive probiotics free/che- late mercury from the intestines which gives the kind of reaction I had? I also have a question about zinc and metallothionein. I read that MT is very important for removing heavy metals. It is also very important for zinc retention. Does this mean that as long as there are heavy metals int the body any MT which is available will pull these heavy metals and flush them out, meaning MT(thionein) is not avai- lable to take up zinc because it is TOO ''busy'' with heavymetal detoxification? So as long as there is too muchheavy metals(mercury in particular), the body cannot use zinc effectively? Greetings Ali
