Guest guest
mathurhoden, I truly feel for your predicamant, hang in there.. I have found sometimes it is best to take a break from all the supplements and start to re-add one by one over a period (taking at least a week to see how you handle ecah one) and try to keep your diet consistment and boring so as not to bring in any food allergies to the mix Also try not to get too overwhelemed with an aggressive treatment plan and break down your symptoms/treatments one by one. I know this is tedious and takes time but if it is heavy metals, like many of us you have multiple problems I think its important to try to identify and then treat one problem at a time. Otherwise it does become overwhelming with trying to treat symptoms blindly or even trying to define what the heck is wrong. You say you have high blood pressure, so try to treat this properly. and completely.Stress can aggravate this from what I understand. I agree with what I think TK said below, don't bother sharing your treatment plan with your co-workers as ignorance is rampant in the health care industry about anything that does not fit the medical dogma. This can create more stress and anxiety and doubt in your own mind...if you're sick you do not need this extra stress by having to justify your illness. I agree with Tk in taking the adrenal test as it seems everyone has either low cortisol or high cortisol with low Dhea. This is a good starting point. If your clinic has arrangements do it there otherwise go to another clinic so you can feel more comfortbale and have some confidentiality. This peer pressure alone is probably contributing to some of your anxiety, You can contact Diagnos-techs in Wash state at to request a test kit and I am sure get a dr to sign off on ordering the tests for you. Results are wihin a week and then the treatment can begin. Its also pretty cheap ($100-$200) and your health care will likely cover. Reward yourself for the fact that you seem to know that you do not have MCS(Mult-Chem-Sensivities). At least you have narrowed the symptoms down. Consider consulting with Andy only after you have more information from your tests. His fee I believe is $450 to analyze your history (with your dr) but again i think its best to focus on diagnosing one problem at a time. Hang in there, many of us have been or are in a similiar predicament This forum is extremely helpful but you have to take it one step at a time. Maybe I am just lucky but after a month on the protocol I feel better than I have in 3 years. (primarily sulphur food problems and I belive phase 1-phase 2 liver problems...you can deal with this tests later) So I am hopeful that I will get on top of what has ailed me and I am sure you will to - > > I don't have mulitple chemical sensitivities.
