Yes, I agree with Barb. I took 20 mg with no problem but I am stage 7 and

likely have been for at least 10 years. is only stage 5 so he would

likely do fine on a much lower morning dose. I do think it is very

individual and no one set rule for all. Plus, the length of time on the

higher dose makes a difference too. I was not on 20 mg for more than a few

days.

with no problem, so HC dosing is very INDIVIDUAL. Just like Armour

dosing. You just have to play with doses, rhythms, times, etc. What

works for one may not work for another.

Also, you and Cheri are stage 7, and DH are 5 and 4. I think

you can run into problems if you take " blanket recommendations " for

HC or Armour, because everyone is so individual. I mean, some people

really do fine on Synthroid! It worked for me till I wrenched my

back, developed sciatica and was in constant pain, and put on a

prednisone pack. The synthroid no longer worked after that, like

something got broken (adrenals?).

total daily HC was, and how you broke the doses up?

It was during stress dosing. I was already up to 35 mg and stressed dosed to

45 mg.

20 mg 15 mg 5 mg 5 mg
