Thanks for the warm welcomes and the suggestions about meals and

dressing, hope to get a true answer on those vinegar carbs :0) ON the

subject of weight, shopping and self image. Isn't it amazing the

thing about weight, 140-150 in high school and think you were just

huge, I was also very active, I was a cheerleader, and on the

volleyball team but every minute of everyday I was fat and depressed

and starving myself and gulping down diet pills. The only girls that

I knew what their weight was, were always in the 100-120lbs. weight

range and I wanted to be them. It amazes me the differance in weight

ratio to size at 5'5 " 145lbs I never got smaller then a 13/14 I don't

think I could ever get to a 8/10 But some of you at 150ish are in

those small numbers. Now on the thought about shopping. I bet those

size zero girls are more worried about there size and weight then

anything. Why would anyone want to be that small??? Only someone

obcessed with weight and food to the point of being a skeleton with

skin. I'm sorry but I don't think that they are all the attrative

naked now are they!? Be proud to be a size 8,10,12,14,16,18,20 I

would be happy to be anywhere in that area. And who gives a crap what

they're thinkng you go out and spend that money and keep our economy

going!

Ruthie~ You can't be that old cause I was born in 1966! I am a

transplant to GR, I came from Mt.Clemens MI which is north of

Detroit, my DH's job brought us out here in 1994 and I have adopted

it as my home, I love it here so much!!! Butterworth is still here

and well, our two main hospitals join together as one(Butterworth &

Blodgett) and became Spectrum Health but no one could deal with the

name change so they went back to their orignal names with Spectrum

after it. The whole area is booming and beautiful, very family

oriented area. How long did you live here?

I see we have someone from the U.P. here also! Now that is where I'd

love to be! Wish D.H. could make good money working up there!
