I have only been on cortisol since October but one thing I did not get this

year that I have the past two years is extreme cold sores. I noticed a few

days that the lips start getting the tingly feeling but the sores haven't

come on yet (hopefully they won't) and I have been eating all the foods one

is supposed to avoid like meats and nuts. So, I think that is an improvement

since adding cortisol.

Hi Val, everyone,

Can anyone tell me if they've seen changes in their immune system as

adrenal function improves? I read Dr. Plechner's work and he says he

saw this in the animals he treated, but I have not been able to find

anything on humans.

Thank you,

Martha

Usually it does help me but I was taking literally handfuls because I was

getting cold sores every 2 months but it wasn't helping at all this time. I

am amazed that my low cortisol was causing that. I guess I have been low for

so long I don't even recognize symptoms when I get even lower.

If anyone has fever blisters, taking lysine really helps.

And avoiding high arginine foods while increasing lysine. Taking extra

B, C, E and zinc also helps.
