Broward: Looking for Playmates

We live in City. Our son is 9 yrs (will be 10 in 4 months) and high

functioning. He attends school in a typical classroom with an aide. We would

like to hear from local families with similar or typical children who are around

8 to 11 years old and would also like to have new friends for their children to

play with.

I have a typical daughter in that age range (9). She is very good with kids on

the spectrum as her brother is on the spectrum.

We also live in city.. It would be great to meet! I am also involved with

the Broward County Autism Society.

I am also involved with the Autism Society of Broward and I have a daughter on

the spectrum, 11 and non-verbal. In an effort to connect families, I have

started co-hosting a monthly event called " Friends of Mr.Ocean " . We will be

meeting this Saturday Dec 15th from 2 to 5pm at Azalea Terrace, Hollywood Beach.

Hi, I am in Davie. My son is 10 also high functioning , very social. I would love to set up a play date. I prefer to have my son stay away from computer, ipod, ds, during play date if that is ok. PLease call me. 954-816 -4691

Thank you to all who have replied. It will be nice for our kids to have new

playmates. We have been a little busy with the holidays and all but we will be

in contact soon. It may not be till after the 1st because we are having family

in from out of town soon.
