Re: Val/Nick from Misty I have had similar experience to you, Misty, so I'll add my 2 cents as well. ;-) For me going up too fast also does not make me feel hyper, just crappy, and I get edema! For me, I think it's because I don't have enough cortisol to handle taking so much t3 so fast. When I add in the HC, the t3 gets into the cells and the edema goes away. I thought I was gaining weight, too, but once I increased the HC a bit, I lost the water and the "weight" with it. But I was also low in potassium and supping that also help a lot to get rid of excess water.
