Guest guest
Boy, did my sister luck out! We recently had a discussion about my being on cynomel, self-treating, hypo symptoms, etc., etc., etc. She decided to talk to her doctor because she has nearly all, if not all, of the symptoms I have, she just hasn't had the blood work done. Her doctor is not familiar with rT3, T3 only medication, etc., but is willing to prescribe! My sister saw her this week after getting her blood results back. The doctor remembers requesting a rT3 test after my sister suggested it, but it was not in the results. Because of all of her symptoms, my symptoms and success on cynomel, she wrote her a prescription! While my sister was meeting with the doctor, they joked that she would probably call her back soon after talking to me with more questions and/or suggestions. Her doctor than told her to call me while in her office, so the three of us could talk! Unfortunately my sister had left her phone at home and didn't know my phone number. I am so impressed with this doctor! I also like her because she has indicated she thinks it's awesome that I'm going to grad school to be a naturopathic doctor! She is an MD, but, she is awesome! I just wish she was local, but she is somewhere around Lexington, VA. Just wanted to share that there are some doctors out there not familiar, but willing to learn and experiment! Guest guest
That's great, ! Great that she listens, and acts on symptoms! My doctor does to a degree, but I wanted her to start me on the Cytomel last week, and she's waiting on stupid labs. She is having a great weekend, I'm sure, with her family....enjoying herself, and I'm still waiting to START on a treatment. She knew 3 weeks ago that I'm reversing from the old labs, and she took me off of Naturethroid because she thot maybe my shortness of breath was from being HYPER....ha. So...I get to sit here on my birthday and be miserable and she gets to "keep from prescribing" the Cytomel for some unknown reason. Ugh. (Yes, I'm whining).
