Guest guest Posted December 19, 2012 Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 Whole Health Psychological Center will be providing 3 new social skills groups: Learn Play (ages: 6-9) - WHPC will be providing Social Skills groups for children with Autism, PDD, and other related conditions. Children will learn and practice social skills through play, movement activities, games, and music. Fridays from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Friendship Circle (ages: 10-13) - Whole Health Psychological Center will be providing a Social Skills group for children with Autism, PDD, and other related disorders. This group will assist your child in improving social skills while decreasing interfering behaviors. The goal of the group is to increase reciprocity in social interactions, establishing and maintaining friendships, flexibility, empathy, and joint decision making. Fridays from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Teen Talk (ages: 14-18) - Whole Health Psychological Center will be providing a Social Skills group for adolescents, who communicate with sentences, with ASD, PDD, and other related disorders. The goal of the group is to increase self-esteem, positive social skills, self and social awareness and ability to react appropriately with others. Fridays from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Here is the information for all of the social skills: When: February 1, 8, 15 March 1, 8, 15 (6-session series) Cost: $50 per session or $250 for payment at start of group for the entire series Deadline to Register: 01/18/2013 Location: 801 Northpoint Parkway, Suite 20 West Palm Beach, Fl. 33407 All social skills groups will be facilitated by a psychologist with early childhood and autism experience.
