Guest guest
My insurance wouldn't cover it without a fight. A letter of recommendation from your ped. and a letter from any other Dr. stating that Dr.H. is the best in the field. And show documentation that she has gotten children to eat sleep and grow- I also sent a video(of poor quality) but it showed I work on finding Dr. H. and reminded them that if it was their child they to would what the best. They covered 80/20 the first visit and 60/40 the second. Please keep good files. I should have done that a long time ago. With and his age 12 they don't think he should be on a feeding tube and the reason was we waited to see if he could do it on his own. I just fought for another year. dale murphy-mom to Mike 17 and 12 (RSS & everything)
Guest guest
Jackie - I am so glad to hear from you! Did you not get any of my earlier emails about the convention? Write me privately. Dr. Harbison's phone number is . For the best information on RSS vs SGA, go to www.magicfoundation.org and go to the RSS information. It explains what characteristics RSS kids have MORE often than SGA kids, and what characteristics BOTH have in common. Remember, SGA (small for gestational age) ENCOMPASSES RSS children as well. And there are two categories of SGA - first off, any child born too small for their gestational age is classified " SGA " while the doctors run tests to determine WHY. But 85-93% of kids born SGA catch-up by age 2. The remaining 7-15% do not catchup, and after every type of test possible, no reason for their size is known. It is these " idiopathic SGA " kids that we refer to with RSS. These kids experience the same hypoglycemia/ketone risk, early adrenarche/puberty, and other issues that RSS kids. Treatment protocol for both sets (RSS and idiopathic SGA) are the same. Hope this helps. Keep me posted. > Can anyone tell me how i can get in touch with Dr. H? I'm willing to > drive to new york to see her but our insurance won't cover out of our > district. Also can you please tell me the differance between RSS And > SGA? I seem to be getting confused on the differance bewteen them! > Thanks Jackie mom of Kelsey

Try calling the school and explaining the situation, they may be able to help you. What grade is your daughter in? To: sList Sent: Saturday, December 22, 2012 3:01 PM Subject: Help!!! Guest guest
My son is in fifth grade with Mrs. Prescott as well. I live on 39th Street and Davie Road. Maybe they ride the same bus? I think my boys ride route 1230. Maybe it's possible to drop your daughter off here and she can catch the bus with my boys if they ride the same bus? The bus picks them up here at 7:05.
