Any of you have a child with any sleep disorders? How or what do you do with

school difficulties when they call he's sleeping again come get him.

I ask the school what they would do if a typical student fell asleep?

Unless there is a reason for concern re sleeping in class the schools should not

be calling you to come get him, unless you have an understanding with them and

that's appropriate.

My daughter is in 6th grade.  Due to some sleep and medication issues, she was falling asleep during first period every day (and sometimes second period).  They have allowed her to sleep in the nurses office and make up the work.  Its not ideal, but it is working until the meds even out a little bit.

 

I ask the school what they would do if a typical student fell asleep?
