Relocating to Orlando - recommendations for Aspie kid

Hi Everyone,

I know this is for south FL, but am looking for recommendations re. the Orlando

area, as we are relocating. I have a child with possibly Aspergers, or a

specific language disorder. He does well mainstreamed, but receives 1 x weekly

speech therapy in school to address his pragmatic IEP goals. Can anyone

recommend:

1. a great elementary school in Orlando with great administration, quality

teachers, active PTA

or 2. a great private school that is flexible in working with children on social

skills goals (asking questions of friends, not having one sided conversations,

being flexible, etc.)

3. a private speech therapist in that area whose focus is pragmatics and who may

be running some speech therapy groups
