The CARD Adult and Transition Services Team would like to share a few upcoming opportunities for our families.

CARD's Transition to Adulthood

Training Series for Spring 2013

Once a month, CARD will present a discussion of a different topic related to adults on the autism spectrum. All of our trainings are free, but registration is required. People who pre-register can also view the presentations online through Adobe Connect.

The presentations for January, March, and May will be held at the NSU CARD office in Davie. To register for a Broward training, contact is Bitting ()

The presentations for February, April, and June will be held at the UM CARD office in Coral Gables. To register for a Miami-Dade training, contact Lynette Estrada ()

UM FunDay 2013: For Adults Only!

UM FunDay is an annual event for UM-NSU CARD adult constituents (18 years or older). Local individuals with disabilities are paired with UM student volunteer " buddies " , and participate in activities such as arts and crafts, the fun fair, and karaoke. All participants will receive a complimentary lunch.

Date: Saturday, February 16, 2013

Time: 10:00am

Location: University of Miami, Coral Gables

Event is free, but registration is mandatory

Registration Deadline: January 18, 2013
