Broward: Need Basketball Player Shadow Volunteer

Sunrise school with ASD basketball team is looking for

someone that enjoys basketball and would be interested and available to work

with a super sweet 13 year old boy to teach him basic basketball skills from

dribbling the ball, passing it to a teammate, etc... The other students in the

team are high functioning but still require a lot of attention from the coach.

This boy is moderate functioning and would love to eventually joint the team but

needs first to learn the very basics about basketball. Right now he is the

waterboy and loves going to practice and being part of the group but we need a

volunteer to work 1:1 with him. The team practices 3x per week but even if you

can just volunteer an hour per week, the would be most appreciated!! If you are
