Guest guest
This whole "conversation" is so interesting to me (I really liked the latex story, too.) I think if more people would just educate their children (especially those without allergy issues) it would be so much easier. Even then, there could be problems. This is a true story: when I was a lunch mom, a kindergartner (girl) actually wiped peanut butter on the lips of an allergic child (on purpose, of course) just to see what would happen and to be mean. HONEST! The epi-pen worked and the girl was fine, but the perpetrator was eventually kicked out of the school (private school.) My 13-year-old came home with goldfish crackers in her lunchbox a few weeks ago because the other kids at her table thought it was funny that she can't eat wheat. (Luckily she has a great attitude, is almost 6 ft tall & can handle herself, and didn't really care. But STILL!...) : ) Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
