Math Advancement Program - City of Doral (Miami)

Behavior Links is offering a Math Advancement Program for kids ages 6-15 with

special needs. All levels of functioning welcomed, non-verbal and verbal.

Cost: $20 for Doral Residents - $24 for non-residents

Description: A small-group program with individualized instruction. Goal is to

increase one or more math skills at least 1/2 grade level. Led by special

education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Educational Psychologist.

Parent training and homework is part of the program.

Dates: Runs for 6 weeks from Feb 5th to March 19th on Tuesdays.

Participants will be placed in a group based on skill level. Groups will be held

at 3:45-4:30pm and 4:30-5:15pm. Assessments will be completed on January 22nd in

the afternoon.

Criteria:

-Must be 6-15 years old with a documented diagnosis

-Must be at least 1 grade level behind in math

-Parent or designated adult must attend all sessions

-Participant must be able to attend all sessions

Registration OPENS on Monday, January 14th at 9:30am.

Must call or email to register. Do not leave a voicemail, call again or email in

order to have time-stamp. Space is limited and programs fill up quickly.
