My son is currently in a Hanger helmet. Where are you? We are in central Missouri. Hanger does all kinds of prosthetics so each office and orthotist will have different levels of experience with banding babies. If someone has used your particular location and ortho they could give you the most accurate info about them. Our experience with Hanger has been excellent. Our ortho is experienced and is open to all questions and concerns and works very well with us. My son has seen great correction and I am very pleased. Hope you have a great experience!

I am using Hanger for my 8 month old daughter. She has only been wearing it for 2 weeks now, but so far, the whole experience has been very good. The scanning was easy on her and didn't take very long, we got the helmet back within 1 week, they are helping us file the claim with the insurance company, and the technician seems very knowledgeable. He adjusted her helmet once so far and now, she doesn't have any irritations whatsoever. They are also very friendly and good with the babies. I also think that she is already showing some improvements, but I am not 100% sure about that.
