Join us for an opportunity to participate in a series of webinars geared to build capacity on an array of employment related topics.

ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

During the webinar, the presenter will discuss 1) what's new for the 2012 federal income tax season, 2) filing options, and 3) federal income tax information for taxpayers with disabilities. Participants will receive current information, including answers to questions about various rules and forms. In addition, participants will receive guidance on resources and materials available on the IRS website.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Margaret O’Malley, Senior Tax Consultant, IRS

Margaret O’Malley is a Senior Stakeholder Relationship Tax Consultant with the Internal Revenue Service’s Stakeholder, Partnership, Education and Communication (SPEC) Division. Margaret partners with community organizations to help inform their clients about tax responsibilities. Currently, Margaret works with partners to provide information about potential tax benefits and credits to taxpayers whose income is primarily from wages. Margaret also works to increase access to free income tax preparation programs.

Margaret holds a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University in Boston and has been employed by the Internal Revenue Service for 26 years.
