Guest guest
Hi Joan, I joined Val's group a little over a year ago. I had been to numerous Dr.'s including several Endo.'s, a cardiologist, a rheumatologist and an orthopaedic because of thyroid and adrenal symptoms, heart palpitation, panic attacks and terrible joint pains. I could never find anyone that could even tell me I was truly ill. All of them told me my results were normal and they had no answers for the reason's why I felt so bad. I had been on T4 alone for a couple of years and then several combinations of T3/T4 including armour, then a SRT3 and finally after meeting Val went to T3(Cytomel) only. It took approx. 10-12 weeks for the RT3 to clear and I feel about 95% these days. I think depending on how long and how bad you were inititally will determine how long it will take to clear all of the receptors and begin repairing the organs and other areas that had been stressed or damaged by the RT3. Even though I feel so much better I still have bad days(my adrenals!!)and I think this is just an ongoing situation that we will always have to deal with and focus on. Hang in there and you will start feeling better. Follow Val, Nick and Margery's advice and you will find with time that you will start to slowly heal and feel human once again! By the way, you said you are in Texas. I am in the Houston area just NW of Houston, near the Woodlands. Where are you in Texas? Cindy > > Could someone who has been through this and cleared rt3 please tell us your story? We who are going through this need to hear from you! Your symptoms, and what went away after clearance. Also what your rt3 was...how high it was and what your ratio was. That would be great to hear! THANKS! >

Guest guest
OMG, Cindy! I am in Conroe, on the south loop 336 like you're on the way out to the lake! I can't believe we're that close! In fact, my doctor is there in Spring, Dr. McManus! I assume we are very close to each other! I would love to stay in touch, as it helps so much to have someone who has been there/is there for support! Did you have the shortness of breath/air hunger with yours, too? Thanks for your story!
