Guest guest
Very cold hands and feet year round = need natural thyroid or considering Rt3 may need only T3 till clearance? BUT must have adrenal problems addresses FIRST fine tremor throughout entire body,= may be adrenal reaction by sending out adrenalin when thyroid isn't responding sufficiently? night sweats sometimes = may be adrenalin causing it because thyroid isnt getting into tissues, and adrenal glands are trying to substitute for failing thyroid? This was his considered advice when I suggested to him that I beieve that I have a RT3 thyroid problem, This was really the last straw for me as I have been bouncing around within the allopathic medical system for the last 5 years without a creditable answer or diagnosis of my problem(s). That's when I discovered this RT3_T3 board. What a welcomed gift! I have now been monitoring the posts on this obviously well informed board for some time and I have formed an opinion of what my problem is. I am going to post my details here and hopefully I will receive some advice and confirmation of my situation from the savvy posters here. Here goes: Male 59 years 182 cm or 6' tall 73 kilograms or 165 lbs Reasonably fit attending gym 5 nights weekly for running and weights Vegetarian eating seafood and eggs Symptons Very cold hands and feet year round, general unwell feeling, muscle spasms, fine tremor throughout entire body, episodes of higher Blood pressure, Parasthesiae in hands, low free testosterone not reacting to supplementation, night sweats sometimes, unstable temps under 37 (98.6) I have 2 excel files of Dr Rinds Temperature graphs. One is my Basal waking and the other is daily averaged. How do I post these for comment? The equivalents below are my conversion calculations to make it easier, so may be subject to mistakes. Guest guest
Hunter wow thank you for this information. You have given me some hope that I might some day rid myself of these cold hands and feet as well as this annoying body tremor. First question is how do I recognise that I have adrenal problems? I have a whole raft of blood tests including Cortisol,ACTH, Adrenaline, noradrenaline, metadrenaline, normetadrenaline which seem to be basically in range from memory but I will recheck now. I also have 2 Dr. Rind temperature graphs which I am attempting to post maybe tomorrow. Would these results and graphs reveal my adrenal status? Which means I should post them on the Adrenal board when I join I guess. Yes my RT3 is way too high and once I have raised my ferritin levels up I will be attempting to clear my RT3 with T3. Kind regards Wayne > > Very cold hands and feet year round = need natural > thyroid or considering Rt3 may need only T3 till > clearance? Guest guest
Hi Wayne I don't know if you have done the salivary cortisol x4 but that will show you how your adrenals are functioning at 4 different times during the day. It will show if your adrenals are high all day, low all day or a mixture of both. I am in Aus. and you can get this test done through a couple of labs here but you will have to get a GP or naturopath to sign off on the test. I had this done in Feb and it showed that my adrenals were too high (probably caused my Rt3 along with low ferrtin). I am just about to do it again to see where I am at now. Good luck.
