Guest guest
I've had good luck getting my cynomel. It does usually take three weeks, so I bet you can relax soon!Ann Hi, all, Late last month, with help from folks at RTH, I finally figured out how to calculate my FT3/RT3 ratio, and the news wasn't very good. It was 11. So on June 1, I ordered a bottle of Cynomel from MMDS (hopefully you know which outfit I'm talking about). Long story short, it still hasn't shown up, and I'm nearly out of thyroid meds. I went ahead last night and reordered Nutri-Pak desiccated bovine thyroid, because the thought of running out of everything makes me really nervous. Don't want to feel like I've been hit by a train (again). When I ordered the Cynomel, I believe the website stated that delivery would be 10-15 days. But when I got an e-mail from MMDS to let me know the stuff had actually shipped (on June 4), the delivery time was specified as 20-25 days. Well, thanks a lot. So much for planning. Any words of encouragement? Is this stuff gonna show up? I do wish it would, because I don't feel the best in the world, and am hoping that the T3 helps. Best regards, Bette
Guest guest
Sorry, I should have said...I'm in the US, in a mid-Atlantic state. Guest guest
Sometimes things sit in customs a while before they get around to clearing the packages, so I wouldn't worry. Luckily, I live close to the Mexican border and get my Cynomel within 10 days to 2 weeks almost 100% of the time. BUT I give myself a month just in case!! Guest guest
Bette, mine shipped out a few days after ordering but took about 20 days to get here. Then one day I went to the mailbox and found a paper from the post office saying they'd tried to deliver it twice already and if I didn't come by the post office to claim it within the next couple of weeks they were sending it back. It may be possible your post office tried to deliver it but you weren't home. Usually they'll leave a notice on the door but I didn't see 2 previous notices, thankfully they left the third one in the mailbox. If it doesn't show up soon I'd suggest contacting your post office and asking them if you have a package there.<<Posted by: "notherby" beesjr@... notherbyMon Jun 21, 2010 8:05 am (PDT)Hi, all,Late last month, with help from folks at RTH, I finally figured out how to calculate my FT3/RT3 ratio, and the news wasn't very good. Guest guest
I had to sign for mine, as well! The mail lady just happened to be at the box when I drove up, and she had me sign for it then. I guess when I get well enough to go back to work one of these days, I will have to start going to the post office for it. It took mine 12 business days to get to me, and I'm in Texas. Guest guest
, Is Cynomel available at all the pharmacies in Mexico. I live in SD and was thinking of crossing the border to get it there but I wasn't sure if I could get it at any pharmacy in Mexico. Also, do you know if I would have trouble getting it across the border without a prescription. > > > > Hi, all, > > > > Late last month, with help from folks at RTH, I finally figured out how to calculate my FT3/RT3 ratio, and the news wasn't very good. But when I got an e-mail from MMDS to let me know the stuff had actually shipped (on June 4), the delivery time was specified as 20-25 days. Well, thanks a lot. Guest guest
Prescriptions are NOT needed in Mexico. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ Do you need a prescription for this? Subject: Re: Cynomel from Mexico To: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 9:26 AM Hi, all, I gave a PO Box address as the ship-to, so what I've been waiting for is that yellow card the post office normally puts in my box when I have a package...either that, or they might even be able to fit the package into the box, since it's only 1 bottle of pills. But if I have to sign for it, still, that shouldn't be a problem since it's being delivered to the post office anyway. Sigh...still waiting... Thanks for all your responses. Guest guest
Well, it did show up today, thank goodness. I took 12.5 mcg this afternoon, half at 4 p.m. and the other half at 6:30 p.m. At first I didn't feel anything, but now it's 3.5 hours later, and I'm feeling it for sure. For two hours this evening, I sat here on my couch and just yawned my head off. Bet I'll sleep good tonight. I was taking between 2.5 and 3 grains of Armour, so I'm starting at 25 mcg split up into four doses tomorrow. Does that sounds about right? My ferritin is low, so I don't want to overdo it. It was 20 back in late April, I've been taking iron, but haven't had a chance to test it again (probably hasn't had time to climb very much since then anyway). I have edema in my legs, and right now the skin on my ankles feels really tight. It always does in the evenings. I sure hope the T3 will help. Thanks for any feedback!
