In the adult metal chelation group CC developed neurological symptoms

from high dose ALA (can't remember how high or how many times a day).

He was able to resolve those symptoms by using ALA on Andy's dosing

schedule. You could search the archives of that group - every once in

a while he mentions his experience. Keep in mind that he sometimes

makes his own variations on Andy's protocol because he doesn't want to

take supplements. He would do better to supplement the things that

are in short supply, but he is his own boss.

In the book review section for " Amalgam Illness " on Amazon there is a

report from someone who messed himself up with high dose ALA (to the

point of being close to MS) and resolved the problems with ALA on

Andy's protocol. I can find that one for you if you want.

I foolishly had one EDTA IV and fooled around with NDF, because I

trusted the doctor and dentist at the time. Those both contributed to

some mental or crazy symptoms. I can't say that I have totally

reversed the damage because I haven't chelated with ALA much. I am

functioning a million times better than I was immediately post NDF and

I think that is a combination of the chelation I did with DMPS and the

medications and supplements that I added to my routine (mostly

recommended by Andy and all mentioned in " Amalgam Illness " ).

Some do well with the basic supplements but some of us, like me, need

to match symptoms to supplements and medications until they get the

right mix. I wasn't able to figure it all out at the time and had

some help from Andy and . I'm functioning fairly well now

(except for the pain problem that I am still working on). It's nice

to be able to function well during chelation.
