Guest guest
Had my first crown broke open yesterday. Quite an experience. There was a stainless steel post supporting the tooth. The dentist could not get it out, and advised me to keep it in, which I agreed to in that moment. I am concerned - initially wanted all metal out of my mouth. Any takes on stainless steel posting in the mouth and the danger of toxic reaction? Thank you so much.
Guest guest
Well, this may not be helpful but I had had a pin supporting the restoration under one of my crowns and my biologic dentist definately wanted it removed. However, I don't know that it was stainless steel - it might have been something else and hence her objection to it. > > Had my first crown broke open yesterday. Quite an experience.
