Guest guest
I've done a half dozen rounds with ALA -- DMSA doesn't agree with me. For the first 3-5 doses of ALA I feel good, usually very good. As good as I once felt after lifting weights. But by the 5-6th dose it fades rapidly into incredible irritation and agitation. Haven't been able to sleep more than 2-3 hours in a week or more, even though I take all the supplements, including melatonin, etc. And I'm taking Isocort, drinking licorice tea. Any suggestions are more than welcome. And I'm STILL waiting on the hair test results that I sent in weeks ago, though it seems obvious I DO have mercury problems. Thanks, Bill

What's the problem with DMSA? > For the first 3-5 doses of ALA I feel good, usually very good. Some of us find that we need to take either DMSA or DMPS with ALA to reduce symptoms. And you may need to stick with the DMSA or DMPS for awhile before using ALA. > Haven't been able to sleep more than 2-3 hours in a week or more, even though I take all the supplements, including melatonin, etc. You may need to consider some type of medication for this. What triggered the sleeplessness? Did it start on a round? Are you sure you didn't change anything recently that caused this? -- > And I'm taking Isocort, drinking licorice tea. > > > Any suggestions are more than welcome. > > And I'm STILL waiting on the hair test results that I sent in weeks ago, though it seems obvious I DO have mercury problems. > > Thanks, > Bill > > > > >

Keep some extra casules handy for when you wake up. Try for a few nights. If it works your sleep issues are due to increased ammonia and decreased ability to detoxify ammonia. Ammonia is old fashioned smelling salts used to awaken people from faiting episodes etc. It makes your brain very alert. Are you low manganese from your hair test as Andy says people with low manganese don't handle ammonia properly. Arginine also works to remove ammonia, but this should be used during in the day as also has the effect of giving you energy. If it works let us know Dean
