It could be either product. I suggest trying one at a time, possibly starting with less than a full capsule. If you have both adrenal and thyroid problems, it is best to treat adrenals first. > Any ideas. I thought this would help. It doesn't make sense to me to speed up organs that are tired. Almost like taking an ICU patient and forcing them on a treadmill to make them run. I feel ginseng is good as an adrenal boost for health adrenals. Cortisol is what rests the adrenals. Ashwaganda is gentler support. Licorice retains cortisol, but can also hype you if you take too much. Adrenal Cortisol Extract is about the safest support to try. I think Andy says somewhere that some hair test labs advice ACE as a routine. Dean

Guest guest
Hi , I came to the same conclusion on the take one thing at a time. I also liked Dean's response about the Ginseng. I have taken it before and felt the same response. In fact when my ND went on maternity, the new ND took me off Ginseng and gave me OATs. That was much better. As for the gel caps. I don't take gel caps. I have over the last year had all my supplements in vegetarian caps. Can I take these meds out of the caps? > --- > > Do you take other supps in gel caps? Thanks Dean, I think I will try the ACE. This makes much more sense to me. In fact, when my ND went on maternity leave, the covering ND, took me off ginseng and put me on OATS -a calming adreanl support. Thanks for your support. > Dean >

I can't see why not. There are some pharmaceutical drugs that should not be cut or taken out of capsules. Guest guest
Have been hypoglycemic all my life and you can not take ginseng it makes it really bad you will feel sick all the time. The adrenal and thyroid support needs to be taken in tiny amounts spread through out the day or you will crash. Try licorice root, Pregnenolone, You may want to be tested for Iodine, (loading test), selenium Ferritin (iron) (ask for this test specifically..it is one of the most important) Mercury binds with these so many of us have very low levels. conversion of cholesterol to pregnenolone The conversion of cholesterol to pregnenolone is aided by the presence of sufficient vitamin A, vitamin E, thyroid hormone, copper, and light, and can be blocked by too much estrogen, X-rays, ultraviolet light, unsaturated oils and iron. From reports we have heard, it seems to be easily absorbed when taken orally. Of the many supplements which are important components of a good health plan, pregnenolone stands out as one of the best. It is a natural nutritional substance that is powerfully beneficial and yet utterly safe. If you are taking any adrenal hormones, you may want to take pregnenolone along with them. If you are still considering taking DHEA or other hormones, consider trying pregnenolone first -- Re: Re: Adrenal Support Help > > Hi, > > I started adrenal and thyroid support today: Siberia Ginseng and > Thryoset.
