Guest guest
colette asked: Anyone recommend a milk thistle brand with just that in? I am sensitive to gelatin (any high glutamate stuff - it is not a pretty reaction). hi colette, i use this brand because i cannot use supplements with binders and most fillers (like magnesium stearate, etc) or rice, which i'm allergic to. this product does have millet in it, don't know if that's a problem for you. this product also had BOTH the standardized extract and the whole plant, which is whatthe experts i follow often recommend. i take 1 of these milk thistle 3xd. Guest guest
> > Anyone recommend a milk thistle brand with just that in? > > Thanks Colette > I like to buy a pound at a time of whole milk thistle seeds. If there is a store which sells bulk herbs they would be able to order that for you..At my store he gives me a discount as I buy in larger quantities.. Then I make a powder of a couple of weeks dosing in a small coffee mill which are cheap.. I store it in the freezer and take out my daily amount.. I heard a great story from the herb store. A man came in to buy milk thistle seed from the store. He was given one year to live due to liver degeneration--- chirrhosis.. After one year of taking it with every meal when he went back to check out his liver --- they said it looked great.. and he felt great.. Guest guest
I use a milk thistle tea. I let it steep for five minutes or more. I really like the fact that it immediately goes into my system without putting a lot of strain on my stomach to digest a capsule, etc. I usually drink it after a meal to aid absorption. --------------------------------- Fussy?
