Guest guest
> So since I started back up did I lose my window of opportunity in clearing out all the RT3? No idea, we don't know how low RT3 needs to be to clear receptors, We know 12 weeks of T3 works, what else does is unknown. >I'm going for a blood draw tomorrow to find out my levels because I am not feeling all that well since I started back up on the T4 (62.5) and remained on the same dose of T3 100mcg (compounded SR). I take all of it in the am and by evening I am pooped and the aches an pains come back. I also have Hashi. Not surprised you are suffering, why are you dosing like that?????? I will try that. Sounds like your Dr has a lot to learn, SR is best spread out to at least 2, maybe 3 times a day. Depending on the compounding some people report that it dumps 50% into the bloodstream immediately and the other 50 over 8 to 12 hours. Because of this along you will be getting more in your bloodstream in one hit than your adrenals can cope with. Generally SR is a pain and harder to dose than straight T3 where any small mistakes wear off after a few hours and you can adjust the dose in small increments. Depending on the state of your adrenals you need to spread it in between 4 and 6 doses a day. I count out the days worth into an empty bottle and then carry that bottle round with me so I can tell how much I have taken that day if I can't remember whether I have taken a dose. Have a read through here www.thyroid-rt3.com And feel free to ask questions Nick
