Guest guest
It is very possible that the canker sores being experienced by a GF child on a strict diet, may indicate another food intolerance or allergy. I would suspect the more common foods first - tomato and mango (the others I believe are already off your son's diet since he is GFCF and can not have soy, etc. I've read some people have reactions to melons that involve mouth sores, as well as berries. Veggies (other than actually legume family) are not as commonly a problem as fruits from what I've read people with multiple food issues discuss. I'm sure an elimination diet is the last thing you want to do since he is already limited, but what other choice is there at the moment and since he is miserable it certain would be worth it in the end to know what is causing the sores. Since they are not apparently getting better, could it be something he is consuming now? Rejoyce VA
