Could I be clearing in spurts on a now low dose of T3, just from

increasing iron? I would have been close to clearing anyways because of the low

rt3 lab, correct? Perhaps I just needed the iron to clear?

I have not taken cynomel this morning, but I am sitting here

sweating and my temp is 96.8, my pulse is 80. It feels like my heart is in my

throat, beating. Does this make sense? What is it?

YES iron can make that much of a differnce. It

is necessary for the

deiodination processes in the body and for carryign the thyroid to the

various areas of the bidy wher it is needed. Sorry finding informaiton

abotu iron and ferritin in relation ot lwo thyroid has been liek looking

for a needle in a haystack. Broda was the first to correlate it

as far as I knwo. I heard it ina recorded lecture from Broda I

bought abotu 6 years ago. I have since learned that Ferritin i not the

best lab for us to do and a fulk iron panel with Ferritin is MUCH more

accurate. I ahve also managed ot find key points such as a % saturation

of 35-45 to utilize thyroid properly.

My sodium is low. I can't tolerate sea salt in water, I vomit

instantly, but I have been adding a lot more salt to my food. (I have never

added salt to my food, or while I was cooking/baking, so this is a big

increase!) Would that cause the weird heart pounding in my throat feeling? Is

there another way to raise sodium? Is that why my bp is always low? Who knew that

low sodium was bad? ;-)

With a temp of 96.8 it is not THYROID causing

these symptoms. A pulse

of 80 is normal. Sweatign you might try some sea salt .

Isn't that crazy? I thought mine would be high because I have always been a salt-a-holic. Thinking back now, I probably craved it because my adrenals needed it. And people used to always tell me to lay off so much salt! :) My sodium is mid-range right now. I don't like drinking it either, but will if I have to.

When my adrenals were at their worst, whenever I would ingest sugar or alcohol for the most part (anything that overstimulated them), I would have weird spells where my insides would start shaking uncontrollably like ticks all over my chest, I would get really dizzy and my head would spin and feel like I was in a box sometimes. I would have to lie down for hours and just feel awful. And then I would avoid anything that would stimulate the adrenals if I could!

Like caffeine? I had stopped drinking coffee when I was on a

higher dosage of T3. I didn't need it. But since I had to dropped down in my

dosage, I need the caffeine to function. My husband and I are building

contractors (well, I'm in the process of changing careers, but until he finds a

business manager, I'm it), and we have to work long hours during this economy

to have any hope of surviving financially. I just can't work the long hours

without caffeine! If I increase my adrenal support, would that help? Is there a

connection between adrenals and sodium levels?

I drank last weekend and felt horrible the next day. I often

drink half a glass of wine, but overdid it last weekend. Won't do it at the

gathering today!

I was getting the shaking in my legs, mainly, when I was on a

higher dosage.

It's not that I don't like drinking salt water (well I don't),

but I literally vomit after. I have tried several times, but vomit each time.

Ugh. Just the thought is making me nauseas! And I use a high quality sea salt.

I'm not using some junk from the grocery store!

, I think caffeine, alcohol and sugar (as well as higher carbs such as white flour/bread/pasta/whiterice/potatoes) adversely affect the adrenals. They overstimulate them! I was a Starbucks junkie and had to have my morning cafe' mocha, and that got me in trouble. I think once the adrenals have been stressed from conflicts, bad diets, etc., then anything that causes stimulation to them is a threat to us.

My doc has me on a 28 day candida cleanse, and that is very restrictive, yet her nutritionist has given me little tips on how to survive it, like I can have up to 16 Ghiardelli bittersweet chocolate chips at a sitting without blowing it. She says try not to consume more than 3 gr of sugar per any serving of anything. I have two days left on the strict diet, but I plan to pretty much adhere to it. I had allergy testing, and the only thing I was in moderate to high range sensitivity on was gluten/wheat. I thought that was interesting.

VALERIE,

I don't understand. I must be looking at these things wrong. I

thought that 96.8 would be thyroid.

Confused

Betty

With a temp of 96.8 it is not THYROID causing these symptoms. A

pulse

of 80 is normal. Sweatign you might try some sea salt .
