Guest guest
My TSH a couple of months ago was 0.016 on 2.5 grains dessicated and 120mg SRT3. The doctor suggested I cut back on the dessicated and add T3 if needed. I left the T3 the same but cut all the way back to 1 grain dessicated. My TSH is now 0.0005! How can that be? Dr. wants me to cut back dessicated more-even all the way and add T3 if necessary. Since cutting back the first time I do feel much, much calmer-but my muscle pain, brain fog-all worse. I have no energy to do much and can't do too much or I will overdue it easy-can't excercise as it whips me. I've always had this to some degree since getting sick, but it feels like I used to feel when TSH was a 2 or a 3. I take 30mg cortisol-could it be I have too much thyroid and its giving me a paradoxial feeling of not being on enough? Dr. wouldn't do free T3 this time as he says he knows its out of range on the hight side--best doc I can get in the area but still too conservative. Last time before cutting dessicated it was a 4. What should I do? I know TSH isn't the best indicator, but I am taking a dose of SRT3 that they say is usually not exceeded but by a few at his office. That plus the 1 grain dessicated might be too much. Thanks
